I recolored this Illustration I did a year ago, so, it’s new to you! The colors were bothering me lately. I like it now.
First figure drawing in a month or two. I haven’t done figure drawing with charcoal in forever either. I think I’m going back to my pencil and my sketchbookkk.
Watercolor doodlin.
Anonymous asked: What's your favourite kind/brand of ink and of paper? Do you have any suggestions for people just starting out with that medium?
This is a weird question as a lot of the pieces I’ve done recently have been on multiple pieces of paper, hah. I do my lines and watercolors on separate pieces of paper. Lines are done right now on this Canson Vidalon Paper: http://www.dickblick.com/products/canson-vidalon-vellum/ and then I do my watercolors on some form of Hot Press Watercolor paper. That way I can do all of my sketchy drawing stuff on a cheap piece of paper and then start work on the final whenever I want to for the lines, and transfer that somehow to the watercolor paper. It requires a lot of photoshop, hah. I’m working on a new process to make this faster though. As far as ink goes, I’ve been using Sumi brand ink for years, but I’m trading of every now and again with this Kohl-I-Noor drawing ink: http://www.dickblick.com/products/koh-i-noor-water-resistant-drawing-ink/
Anonymous asked: I'm in love with your art. Do you take commissions?
I surely do. Just email or message me as a real person and we could work that out.
Anonymous asked: :( The link to your website isn't working. The one under your little "About" section, where it says "My website is pretty cool too."
…my website was misspelled this whole time. I’ll have a new website soon too, with a new web address too, that I’ll have to make sure I spell right.

Last illustration for the paper. I like to think this was my funniest thing I’ve done for them. Having way too much fun experimenting with brush’s.
